& other experiments in immersive space
This was my master thesis: a research project into the boundries of "immersion". Inspired, among others, by the work of CREW, the theater theory of Brecht and the muscle control performances by STELARC. The aim is not to make an illusion that feels "more real", but to create something that feels "too real". To find and answer to what happens when a medium does not only control your eyes and ears, but your entire body, and the space around you.
